Bratsch + DJ Dunkelbunt

Veterans of European world music, Bratsch, celebrate nearly 30 years on the road together with their sixteenth album, Plein du Monde (EMI France) featuring guest artists Khaled, Lhasa, Charles Aznavour and others.   One of the first groups in western Europe to immerse themselves in the bitter-sweet sounds of the Balkans and to perform these side by side with French chanson and manouche styles, their characteristic gruff voices touch raw emotion.  Exuberant and heartfelt violin, clarinet, and accordion on a tight rhythm section make for dancing, singing, laughing and crying with these plunderers of good music from Europe’s corners.
